Funeral Services
The prospect of filming a loved one's funeral may seem a little macabre or strange, but for some communities it is the only way that distant family and friends can view the proceedings and pay their last respects.
The first sample extract show here is from the funeral of Evelyn Hylton. Many family members live in Jamaica and America and could not make the long journey to the UK to be present at the funeral. Maiden Video was commissioned by Evelyn’s family to film the funeral and burial so that copies of the DVD could be sent to those who could not be there in person.
The second extract is from the interment of Victor Alan Perrett's ashes. Victor passed away and was cremated in August 2007. As some of the family lived in Australia, this was the first opportunity they had to all be together and be able inter their father's ashes with their mother's. Maiden Video was commissioned to film the ceremony so that copies of the DVD could be taken back to Australia for other members of the family to view the ceremony and have a record of the proceedings for future generations.
We understand that a funeral is a very emotional time for everyone. We will respect your privacy and be very discreet wherever possible, filming from a distance.
Please contact Maiden Video directly either by email or telephone where we will be able to discuss your requirements.
